Coal chemical industry, gas-making process, the traditional coal handling system for the artificial stream in accordance with the principle of operation against the coal conveyor belt unit, the coal will be transported to the coal gas making plant. Then the control device will plow coal in the coal hopper, added to observe the amount of coal in the coal hopper, coal hopper almost full when all the time, in accordance with the principles of flow along the coal conveyor belt unit one by one stop. This work has the following drawbacks:1. operator misuse of the case, the phenomenon likely to cause a heap of coal. 2. Stokers when the dust very bad environment, the operator is also difficult     to observe using the flashlight in the coal hopper.  3. Throughout the process, the operator should not only operate but also pay attention to the amount of coal in the hopper, the operato is operating strength.To eliminate the drawbacks of the above points,we developed an automatic coal handling system.Automatic coal handling system has four major functions: weighing function, the belt unit interlock function, PC monitoring, unattended automatic coal handling function.
Weighing Functions: Installed in the coal bucket load cell, sensor real-time detection of the weight of coal in the coal bucket, and the weight signals to millivolt weighing instrument in the form of pass, the weight of the instrument will transmit the signal to RS485 transmission to the host computer, and as automatic basis.
Belt unit interlock function:Reverse flow of power coal belt compliance along the coal flow down the principle, if a worker misuse or failure of a belt emergency stop, reverse the direction of flow of the coal conveyor belt will stop, to avoid the phenomenon of the heap of coal.
PC monitoring function:PC to display the upper coal bucket of coal, the execution units running. And can send commands to the PLC to control the execution unit.
Unattended automatic coal handling functions:When a lower limit than a coal bucket, coal handling system automatically starts and cycle the coal, the coal bucket when all have reached the limit, stop the system.

Functional parts:
1 load cell: detect the weight of the coal bucket and millivolt signal is sent to the instrument.
2 weighing instrument: millivolt signal based on gravity sensors to calculate the weight, and the data sent to the IPC via RS485.
3. IPC: a. the weight of the instrument receiving the signal, and signal to the PLC. b. Read PLC data concurrency control command to the PLC.
4. PLC: a. Accept the IPC weight signal. b. Accept the IPC to send commands. c. detecting the state of execution units. d. Control of the execution units.
5. To coal: coal to the coal field large angle belt.
6. Conveyor Belt: Conveyor coal.
7. Coal plow device: the conveyor belt of coal added to the coal hopper on the inside.
8. Three: Select the largest angle to the conveyor belt on which coal plant.
